يا أَيُّهَا الَّذينَ آمَنُوا استَعينوا بِالصَّبرِ وَالصَّلاةِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الصّابِرينَ
O you who believe, seek help through patience and prayer; indeed God is with those who are patient.
وَلا تَقولوا لِمَن يُقتَلُ في سَبيلِ اللَّهِ أَمواتٌ ۚ بَل أَحياءٌ وَلـٰكِن لا تَشعُرونَ
Don’t say of those who are killed in God’s way, “They are dead.” Rather, they are alive, but you can’t perceive it.
وَلَنَبلُوَنَّكُم بِشَيءٍ مِنَ الخَوفِ وَالجوعِ وَنَقصٍ مِنَ الأَموالِ وَالأَنفُسِ وَالثَّمَراتِ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ الصّابِرينَ
We will certainly test you with a measure of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives, and fruits. But give good news to the patient.
الَّذينَ إِذا أَصابَتهُم مُصيبَةٌ قالوا إِنّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنّا إِلَيهِ راجِعونَ
Those who, when a disaster strikes them, say, “To God we belong, and to Him we will return.”
أُولـٰئِكَ عَلَيهِم صَلَواتٌ مِن رَبِّهِم وَرَحمَةٌ ۖ وَأُولـٰئِكَ هُمُ المُهتَدونَ
Upon them are blessings and mercy from their Lord, and these are the guided ones.
إِنَّ الصَّفا وَالمَروَةَ مِن شَعائِرِ اللَّهِ ۖ فَمَن حَجَّ البَيتَ أَوِ اعتَمَرَ فَلا جُناحَ عَلَيهِ أَن يَطَّوَّفَ بِهِما ۚ وَمَن تَطَوَّعَ خَيرًا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ شاكِرٌ عَليمٌ
Safa and Marwa are among the symbols of God. Anyone who performs Hajj to the House or Umrah is not guilty if they circulate between them. Whoever volunteers goodness—God is Appreciative and All-Knowing.
إِنَّ الَّذينَ يَكتُمونَ ما أَنزَلنا مِنَ البَيِّناتِ وَالهُدىٰ مِن بَعدِ ما بَيَّنّاهُ لِلنّاسِ فِي الكِتابِ ۙ أُولـٰئِكَ يَلعَنُهُمُ اللَّهُ وَيَلعَنُهُمُ اللّاعِنونَ
Those who suppress the clear signs and guidance that We revealed, after We made them clear for people in the Scripture—on them is God’s curse and the curse of those who curse.
إِلَّا الَّذينَ تابوا وَأَصلَحوا وَبَيَّنوا فَأُولـٰئِكَ أَتوبُ عَلَيهِم ۚ وَأَنَا التَّوّابُ الرَّحيمُ
Except for those who repent, reform, and declare. These—I will accept their repentance. I am the Acceptor of Repentance, the Most Merciful.
إِنَّ الَّذينَ كَفَروا وَماتوا وَهُم كُفّارٌ أُولـٰئِكَ عَلَيهِم لَعنَةُ اللَّهِ وَالمَلائِكَةِ وَالنّاسِ أَجمَعينَ
Those who disbelieve and die while they are unbelievers are cursed by God, the angels, and all people.
خالِدينَ فيها ۖ لا يُخَفَّفُ عَنهُمُ العَذابُ وَلا هُم يُنظَرونَ
They will remain under it forever, without relief or reprieve from the punishment.
وَإِلـٰهُكُم إِلـٰهٌ واحِدٌ ۖ لا إِلـٰهَ إِلّا هُوَ الرَّحمـٰنُ الرَّحيمُ
Your God is One God. There is no god but He, the Cracious, the Merciful.
