تُرجي مَن تَشاءُ مِنهُنَّ وَتُؤوي إِلَيكَ مَن تَشاءُ ۖ وَمَنِ ابتَغَيتَ مِمَّن عَزَلتَ فَلا جُناحَ عَلَيكَ ۚ ذٰلِكَ أَدنىٰ أَن تَقَرَّ أَعيُنُهُنَّ وَلا يَحزَنَّ وَيَرضَينَ بِما آتَيتَهُنَّ كُلُّهُنَّ ۚ وَاللَّهُ يَعلَمُ ما في قُلوبِكُم ۚ وَكانَ اللَّهُ عَليمًا حَليمًا
You may postpone any of those you wish, and you may receive anyone you wish. There is no blame on you if you invite one whose turn you had previously set aside. This is more appropriate, so that they may be comforted, not saddened, and may all be pleased with what you give them. God knows what’s in your hearts. God is All-Knowing, Most Forbearing.
