هُوَ الَّذي أَنزَلَ السَّكينَةَ في قُلوبِ المُؤمِنينَ لِيَزدادوا إيمانًا مَعَ إيمانِهِم ۗ وَلِلَّهِ جُنودُ السَّماواتِ وَالأَرضِ ۚ وَكانَ اللَّهُ عَليمًا حَكيمًا

It is He who sends tranquility into the hearts of the believers, to strengthen their faith. To God belong the forces of the heavens and the earth. God is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

لِيُدخِلَ المُؤمِنينَ وَالمُؤمِناتِ جَنّاتٍ تَجري مِن تَحتِهَا الأَنهارُ خالِدينَ فيها وَيُكَفِّرَ عَنهُم سَيِّئَاتِهِم ۚ وَكانَ ذٰلِكَ عِندَ اللَّهِ فَوزًا عَظيمًا

He will admit the believing men and women into Gardens beneath which rivers flow, to dwell therein forever, and He will absolve their sins. This, in the sight of God, is the ultimate triumph.

وَيُعَذِّبَ المُنافِقينَ وَالمُنافِقاتِ وَالمُشرِكينَ وَالمُشرِكاتِ الظّانّينَ بِاللَّهِ ظَنَّ السَّوءِ ۚ عَلَيهِم دائِرَةُ السَّوءِ ۖ وَغَضِبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيهِم وَلَعَنَهُم وَأَعَدَّ لَهُم جَهَنَّمَ ۖ وَساءَت مَصيرًا

And He will punish the hypocritical men and women, and the polytheistic men and women, who harbor ill thoughts about God. They are wrapped in wickedness, and God is angry with them, has cursed them, and prepared Hell for them—a terrible fate.

وَلِلَّهِ جُنودُ السَّماواتِ وَالأَرضِ ۚ وَكانَ اللَّهُ عَزيزًا حَكيمًا

To God belong the forces of the heavens and the earth. God is All-Powerful, All-Wise.

إِنّا أَرسَلناكَ شاهِدًا وَمُبَشِّرًا وَنَذيرًا

We sent you as a witness, a herald of good news, and a warner.

إِنَّ الَّذينَ يُبايِعونَكَ إِنَّما يُبايِعونَ اللَّهَ يَدُ اللَّهِ فَوقَ أَيديهِم ۚ فَمَن نَكَثَ فَإِنَّما يَنكُثُ عَلىٰ نَفسِهِ ۖ وَمَن أَوفىٰ بِما عاهَدَ عَلَيهُ اللَّهَ فَسَيُؤتيهِ أَجرًا عَظيمًا

Those who pledge allegiance to you are, in essence, pledging allegiance to God. The hand of God is above their hands. Whoever breaks his pledge, breaks it to his own harm. And whoever fulfills his covenant with God, He will grant him a magnificent reward.

سَيَقولُ لَكَ المُخَلَّفونَ مِنَ الأَعرابِ شَغَلَتنا أَموالُنا وَأَهلونا فَاستَغفِر لَنا ۚ يَقولونَ بِأَلسِنَتِهِم ما لَيسَ في قُلوبِهِم ۚ قُل فَمَن يَملِكُ لَكُم مِنَ اللَّهِ شَيئًا إِن أَرادَ بِكُم ضَرًّا أَو أَرادَ بِكُم نَفعًا ۚ بَل كانَ اللَّهُ بِما تَعمَلونَ خَبيرًا

The Desert Arabs who remained behind will say to you, “Our properties and our families occupied us, so seek forgiveness for us.” They say with their tongues what is not in their hearts. Say, “Who can protect you from God if He intends harm or benefit for you?” God is fully informed of what you do.

بَل ظَنَنتُم أَن لَن يَنقَلِبَ الرَّسولُ وَالمُؤمِنونَ إِلىٰ أَهليهِم أَبَدًا وَزُيِّنَ ذٰلِكَ في قُلوبِكُم وَظَنَنتُم ظَنَّ السَّوءِ وَكُنتُم قَومًا بورًا

You assumed that the Messenger and the believers would not return to their families, which delighted your hearts. You harbored malicious thoughts, and thus, became doomed people.

وَمَن لَم يُؤمِن بِاللَّهِ وَرَسولِهِ فَإِنّا أَعتَدنا لِلكافِرينَ سَعيرًا

Those who reject God and His Messenger—We’ve prepared a blazing fire for the unbelievers.

وَلِلَّهِ مُلكُ السَّماواتِ وَالأَرضِ ۚ يَغفِرُ لِمَن يَشاءُ وَيُعَذِّبُ مَن يَشاءُ ۚ وَكانَ اللَّهُ غَفورًا رَحيمًا

To God belongs the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth. He forgives whom He wills, and He punishes whom He wills. God is All-Forgiving and Merciful.
