بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمـٰنِ الرَّحيمِ يَسأَلونَكَ عَنِ الأَنفالِ ۖ قُلِ الأَنفالُ لِلَّهِ وَالرَّسولِ ۖ فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَصلِحوا ذاتَ بَينِكُم ۖ وَأَطيعُوا اللَّهَ وَرَسولَهُ إِن كُنتُم مُؤمِنينَ

They ask you about the spoils. Say, “The spoils belong to God and the Messenger.” So fear God, settle your disputes, and obey God and His Messenger, if you are believers.

إِنَّمَا المُؤمِنونَ الَّذينَ إِذا ذُكِرَ اللَّهُ وَجِلَت قُلوبُهُم وَإِذا تُلِيَت عَلَيهِم آياتُهُ زادَتهُم إيمانًا وَعَلىٰ رَبِّهِم يَتَوَكَّلونَ

The believers are those whose hearts tremble when God is mentioned, whose faith is strengthened when His verses are recited to them, and who trust their Lord.

الَّذينَ يُقيمونَ الصَّلاةَ وَمِمّا رَزَقناهُم يُنفِقونَ

Those who perform the prayers and spend from what We provide for them.

كَما أَخرَجَكَ رَبُّكَ مِن بَيتِكَ بِالحَقِّ وَإِنَّ فَريقًا مِنَ المُؤمِنينَ لَكارِهونَ

Just as your Lord brought you out of your home truthfully, despite the reluctance of some believers.

يُجادِلونَكَ فِي الحَقِّ بَعدَ ما تَبَيَّنَ كَأَنَّما يُساقونَ إِلَى المَوتِ وَهُم يَنظُرونَ

They argued with you about the truth after it had become clear, as if they were driven towards death while they looked on.

وَإِذ يَعِدُكُمُ اللَّهُ إِحدَى الطّائِفَتَينِ أَنَّها لَكُم وَتَوَدّونَ أَنَّ غَيرَ ذاتِ الشَّوكَةِ تَكونُ لَكُم وَيُريدُ اللَّهُ أَن يُحِقَّ الحَقَّ بِكَلِماتِهِ وَيَقطَعَ دابِرَ الكافِرينَ

God promised you that one of the two parties would be yours, but you wished the unarmed one would be yours. However, God wanted to establish the truth by His words, and to root out the unbelievers.

لِيُحِقَّ الحَقَّ وَيُبطِلَ الباطِلَ وَلَو كَرِهَ المُجرِمونَ

To confirm the truth and to nullify falsehood, even if the guilty hate it.

إِذ تَستَغيثونَ رَبَّكُم فَاستَجابَ لَكُم أَنّي مُمِدُّكُم بِأَلفٍ مِنَ المَلائِكَةِ مُردِفينَ

Recall when you implored your Lord for help, He responded, “I am sending you a thousand angels in ranks.”
