لا تَمُدَّنَّ عَينَيكَ إِلىٰ ما مَتَّعنا بِهِ أَزواجًا مِنهُم وَلا تَحزَن عَلَيهِم وَاخفِض جَناحَكَ لِلمُؤمِنينَ

Don’t extend your eyes towards what We gave certain classes of them to enjoy, and don’t grieve over them. Instead, show kindness to the believers.

وَقُل إِنّي أَنَا النَّذيرُ المُبينُ

Say, “I am the clear warner.”

كَما أَنزَلنا عَلَى المُقتَسِمينَ

Just as We had revealed to the separatists.

الَّذينَ جَعَلُوا القُرآنَ عِضينَ

Those who made the Quran into shreds.

فَوَرَبِّكَ لَنَسأَلَنَّهُم أَجمَعينَ

By your Lord, We will surely interrogate them all.

فَاصدَع بِما تُؤمَرُ وَأَعرِض عَنِ المُشرِكينَ

So proclaim what you’re commanded, and turn away from the idolaters.

إِنّا كَفَيناكَ المُستَهزِئينَ

We are sufficient for you against the mockers.

الَّذينَ يَجعَلونَ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلـٰهًا آخَرَ ۚ فَسَوفَ يَعلَمونَ

Those who set up another deity with God—they will find out.

وَلَقَد نَعلَمُ أَنَّكَ يَضيقُ صَدرُكَ بِما يَقولونَ

We know that what they say causes you distress.

فَسَبِّح بِحَمدِ رَبِّكَ وَكُن مِنَ السّاجِدينَ

So, glorify your Lord with praise, and be of the ones who bow down.
