سَيَقولونَ لِلَّهِ ۚ قُل أَفَلا تَذَكَّرونَ

They will respond, “To God.” Say, “Then why don’t you reflect?”

قُل مَن رَبُّ السَّماواتِ السَّبعِ وَرَبُّ العَرشِ العَظيمِ

Ask them, “Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the Majestic Throne?”

سَيَقولونَ لِلَّهِ ۚ قُل أَفَلا تَتَّقونَ

They will answer, “God.” Say, “Won’t you be righteous?”

قُل مَن بِيَدِهِ مَلَكوتُ كُلِّ شَيءٍ وَهُوَ يُجيرُ وَلا يُجارُ عَلَيهِ إِن كُنتُم تَعلَمونَ

Say, “In whose hands is sovereignty over everything, and He provides protection but requires none, if you truly possess knowledge?”

سَيَقولونَ لِلَّهِ ۚ قُل فَأَنّىٰ تُسحَرونَ

They will say, “God.” Say, “Then how are you bewitched?”

مَا اتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ مِن وَلَدٍ وَما كانَ مَعَهُ مِن إِلـٰهٍ ۚ إِذًا لَذَهَبَ كُلُّ إِلـٰهٍ بِما خَلَقَ وَلَعَلا بَعضُهُم عَلىٰ بَعضٍ ۚ سُبحانَ اللَّهِ عَمّا يَصِفونَ

God has never begotten a child, nor is there any god besides Him. If there were, each god would have claimed what it created, and some would’ve sought supremacy over others. Glory be to God, far beyond what they describe.

عالِمِ الغَيبِ وَالشَّهادَةِ فَتَعالىٰ عَمّا يُشرِكونَ

He is the Knower of the unseen and the seen, far above having a partner.

قُل رَبِّ إِمّا تُرِيَنّي ما يوعَدونَ

Say, “My Lord! If You should show me what they’ve been promised.

رَبِّ فَلا تَجعَلني فِي القَومِ الظّالِمينَ

My Lord, place me not among the wrongdoers.”

وَإِنّا عَلىٰ أَن نُرِيَكَ ما نَعِدُهُم لَقادِرونَ

We can show you what We’ve promised them.
