قالوا سُبحانَكَ ما كانَ يَنبَغي لَنا أَن نَتَّخِذَ مِن دونِكَ مِن أَولِياءَ وَلـٰكِن مَتَّعتَهُم وَآباءَهُم حَتّىٰ نَسُوا الذِّكرَ وَكانوا قَومًا بورًا

They will respond, “Glory be to You! It wasn’t for us to take any allies besides You. You gave them and their ancestors pleasures, until they forgot the Remembrance and became a ruined people.”
