وَالصُّبحِ إِذا تَنَفَّسَ

And by the dawn as it breathes.

إِنَّهُ لَقَولُ رَسولٍ كَريمٍ

Indeed, it is the speech of a noble messenger.

ذي قُوَّةٍ عِندَ ذِي العَرشِ مَكينٍ

Possessed of strength, secure with the Lord of the Throne.

مُطاعٍ ثَمَّ أَمينٍ

Obeyed and trustworthy.

وَما صاحِبُكُم بِمَجنونٍ

Your friend isn’t insane.

وَما هُوَ عَلَى الغَيبِ بِضَنينٍ

Nor is he withholding knowledge of the unseen.

وَما هُوَ بِقَولِ شَيطانٍ رَجيمٍ

It is not the word of an outcast devil.

فَأَينَ تَذهَبونَ

So, where are you going?

إِن هُوَ إِلّا ذِكرٌ لِلعالَمينَ

This is a message to all of humanity.

لِمَن شاءَ مِنكُم أَن يَستَقيمَ

For whoever among you wills to be upright.
