كَلّا إِنَّهُم عَن رَبِّهِم يَومَئِذٍ لَمَحجوبونَ

Surely, on that Day, they will be veiled from their Lord.

ثُمَّ إِنَّهُم لَصالُو الجَحيمِ

Then, they’ll be thrust into the searing flames.

ثُمَّ يُقالُ هـٰذَا الَّذي كُنتُم بِهِ تُكَذِّبونَ

Then it will be said: “This is what you used to deny.”

كَلّا إِنَّ كِتابَ الأَبرارِ لَفي عِلِّيّينَ

However, the record of the righteous is in Ellyeen.

وَما أَدراكَ ما عِلِّيّونَ

And what will make you understand what Elleyoon is?

يَشهَدُهُ المُقَرَّبونَ

Witnessed by those drawn near.

إِنَّ الأَبرارَ لَفي نَعيمٍ

Indeed, the virtuous will be in pleasure.

عَلَى الأَرائِكِ يَنظُرونَ

On adorned couches, observing.

تَعرِفُ في وُجوهِهِم نَضرَةَ النَّعيمِ

You will recognize on their faces the radiance of bliss.

يُسقَونَ مِن رَحيقٍ مَختومٍ

They will be given to drink from a pure, sealed wine.
