ما أَنتُم عَلَيهِ بِفاتِنينَ

Can’t seduce away from Him.

إِلّا مَن هُوَ صالِ الجَحيمِ

Except those destined for Hell’s embrace.

وَما مِنّا إِلّا لَهُ مَقامٌ مَعلومٌ

“There is none among us but has a known position.

وَإِنّا لَنَحنُ الصّافّونَ

We are those who stand in rows.

وَإِنّا لَنَحنُ المُسَبِّحونَ

And we are the praisers.”

لَو أَنَّ عِندَنا ذِكرًا مِنَ الأَوَّلينَ

“If we had a sermon from the ancients.

لَكُنّا عِبادَ اللَّهِ المُخلَصينَ

We would’ve been God’s faithful servants.”

فَكَفَروا بِهِ ۖ فَسَوفَ يَعلَمونَ

Yet, they disbelieved it; they will soon come to know.

وَلَقَد سَبَقَت كَلِمَتُنا لِعِبادِنَا المُرسَلينَ

Our word has already been conveyed to Our chosen servants.

إِنَّهُم لَهُمُ المَنصورونَ

Definitely, they are the ones who will be victorious.
