وَإِذَا الرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَت

And when the messengers’ time has been appointed.

لِأَيِّ يَومٍ أُجِّلَت

To what Day was it deferred?

لِيَومِ الفَصلِ

To the Day of Sorting.

وَما أَدراكَ ما يَومُ الفَصلِ

And what will make you understand what the Day of Sorting is?

وَيلٌ يَومَئِذٍ لِلمُكَذِّبينَ

Woe, on that Day, to the deniers!

ثُمَّ نُتبِعُهُمُ الآخِرينَ

Then We followed them up with the later ones.

كَذٰلِكَ نَفعَلُ بِالمُجرِمينَ

Such is how We deal with the transgressors.

وَيلٌ يَومَئِذٍ لِلمُكَذِّبينَ

Woe, on that Day, to the deceivers!

أَلَم نَخلُقكُم مِن ماءٍ مَهينٍ

Didn’t We create you from a base fluid?

فَجَعَلناهُ في قَرارٍ مَكينٍ

And placed it in a secure repository?
