وَيلٌ يَومَئِذٍ لِلمُكَذِّبينَ

Woe, on that Day, to the deniers!

أَلَم نُهلِكِ الأَوَّلينَ

Didn’t We annihilate the first ones?

ثُمَّ نُتبِعُهُمُ الآخِرينَ

Then We followed them up with the later ones.

كَذٰلِكَ نَفعَلُ بِالمُجرِمينَ

Such is how We deal with the transgressors.

وَيلٌ يَومَئِذٍ لِلمُكَذِّبينَ

Woe, on that Day, to the deceivers!

فَجَعَلناهُ في قَرارٍ مَكينٍ

And placed it in a secure repository?

إِلىٰ قَدَرٍ مَعلومٍ

For a specific period?

فَقَدَرنا فَنِعمَ القادِرونَ

We determined, so how excellent We are at determining.

وَيلٌ يَومَئِذٍ لِلمُكَذِّبينَ

Woe, on that Day, to the forgers!

أَلَم نَجعَلِ الأَرضَ كِفاتًا

Didn’t We make the earth a receptacle?
