كَذٰلِكَ نَفعَلُ بِالمُجرِمينَ

Such is how We deal with the transgressors.

وَيلٌ يَومَئِذٍ لِلمُكَذِّبينَ

Woe, on that Day, to the deceivers!

أَلَم نَخلُقكُم مِن ماءٍ مَهينٍ

Didn’t We create you from a base fluid?

فَجَعَلناهُ في قَرارٍ مَكينٍ

And placed it in a secure repository?

إِلىٰ قَدَرٍ مَعلومٍ

For a specific period?

وَيلٌ يَومَئِذٍ لِلمُكَذِّبينَ

Woe, on that Day, to the forgers!

أَلَم نَجعَلِ الأَرضَ كِفاتًا

Didn’t We make the earth a receptacle?

أَحياءً وَأَمواتًا

For the living and for the dead?

وَجَعَلنا فيها رَواسِيَ شامِخاتٍ وَأَسقَيناكُم ماءً فُراتًا

And placed within it towering mountains, and provided you with fresh water to drink?

وَيلٌ يَومَئِذٍ لِلمُكَذِّبينَ

Woe, on that Day, to the rejecters!
