وَيلٌ يَومَئِذٍ لِلمُكَذِّبينَ

Woe to the disbelievers on that Day!

إِنَّ المُتَّقينَ في ظِلالٍ وَعُيونٍ

The righteous will be amidst shades and springs.

وَفَواكِهَ مِمّا يَشتَهونَ

And fruits of their choosing.

كُلوا وَاشرَبوا هَنيئًا بِما كُنتُم تَعمَلونَ

“Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do.”

إِنّا كَذٰلِكَ نَجزِي المُحسِنينَ

Such is how We reward the doers of good.

كُلوا وَتَمَتَّعوا قَليلًا إِنَّكُم مُجرِمونَ

“Eat and enjoy yourselves a little; indeed, you are guilty.”

وَيلٌ يَومَئِذٍ لِلمُكَذِّبينَ

Woe, on that Day, to the rejecters!

وَإِذا قيلَ لَهُمُ اركَعوا لا يَركَعونَ

And when it was said to them, “Bow down,” they didn’t bow down.

وَيلٌ يَومَئِذٍ لِلمُكَذِّبينَ

Woe, on that Day, to those who refuse!

فَبِأَيِّ حَديثٍ بَعدَهُ يُؤمِنونَ

Then in what statement after this will they believe?
